World Tournament Eligibility Requirements

There are six ways Virginia USSSA teams can receive a World berth.

1. Win an NIT (National Invitational Tournament). (paid berth)
2. Win a World Series Qualifier (unpaid berth)
3. Win a State Tournament. (unpaid berth)
4. Win a National Tournament. (paid berth)
5. Win a National At Large World berth. See National At Large World berth info. (unpaid berth)
6. Win a State At Large World berth. See State At Large World berth info. (unpaid berth)

NOTE: All teams MUST participate in the STATE and NATIONAL tournament keep their world berth and to be eligible for the WORLD tournament.

To receive a state at-large World berth, a team must compete in 6 USSSA tournaments. One of these tournaments must be an NIT or World Series Qualifier and one of these tournaments must be a State tournament.
